The Dibi Lamb That Has the East Bronx Talking. Fouta Halal Is That Spot.

A 4.4 out of 5 on Google does not happen by accident. Fouta Halal in  the East Bronx has built that rating on bold flavors, generous

portions, and the kind of warm hospitality that turns a first order  into a habit. Reviewers do not just talk about the food. They talk  about how the whole experience feels: the aroma, the welcome, the fact  that they came back. Across every review, the same words keep coming  up: flavorful, generous, authentic, welcoming.

That consistency is what earns real loyalty. And it is exactly what  you get when you order from Fouta Halal on Dishout.

A Dual Menu, Done the Senegalese Way

Fouta Halal operates on a time-split system, a traditional Senegalese  eatery style that separates their daytime service from their nighttime  service. The two menus do not overlap. Lunch is stews, sauces, and  rice dishes. Dinner is grilled and roasted meats. Knowing which menu  you are ordering from makes all the difference.

Lunch Menu

The lunch menu is rooted in the Senegalese kitchen staples, and more on the app:

Worth noting: Suppu Kandja (okra stew) is only available on Thursdays  and Sundays. Thiebou Guinar, the chicken version of Thiebou Jen, is  Sundays only.

Dinner Menu

Once the dinner service opens, the menu shifts entirely. This is where  the grilled and roasted dishes come in:

• Dibi Lamb: The signature. Grilled lamb, tender and well seasoned, the dish people keep coming back for

• Dibi Chicken: Available Friday to Sunday

• Pintade (Guinea Fowl): Rich and full-flavoured, not something  you find on many menus in the Bronx

• Gigot: Slow-roasted leg of lamb, for when you want something  that gives way before you even reach for it

• Poisson Braise (Grilled Fish): Whole fish, seasoned and grilled  over open flame

• Shawarma: Available after 7:30PM

• And more on the app

Every dinner order comes with your choice of sides. Options on the app  include Salad, Attiéké, Couscous, Vermicelli, Aloco (fried plantain),  Jollof Rice, White Rice, and more. Full menu available to explore and order for delivery on the Dishout  app. Build the plate the way you want it.
